The past month has been manic. I’ve had mock exams, and the dreaded UCAS application to do as well as building portfolios for university interviews but I am now back as the Christmas holidays approach to focus on my blog for a little bit. Christmas is a lovely time of year but it can be expensive especially if you have a large family. No7 have got a huge range of offers on this Christmas to save you some money this season. No7 are known for having 3 for 2 on all their skincare range which is on pretty much all year round. This is a great way to save money this Christmas as the serums and moisturizers can make a lovely gift for someone. Another 3 for 2 which is held every year is the Boots Christmas 3 for 2 Mix and Match which contains No7 gift sets including both… View Post

Autumn fashion will forever be my favourite purely because of my love of coats and jackets at this time of year. Teddy bear coats have been extremely popular this season and they are available in pretty much everywhere. I thought I would spend a bit this time and invest in a winter coat that I fell in love with instantly when Topshop shared the coat over on their Twitter account.     This coat retails at £79 which is a reasonable price to pay for a lined, faux fur jacket however with the handy use of 20% student discount I got this gorgeous statement piece for around £63. The coat also comes in cream as well as this gorgeous dusky pink.     I have paired this jacket with some bargain items in my wardrobe. Primark has released some high-waisted jeans pretty much identical to the Topshop ones except they… View Post

Last week I received a signed copy of Jim Chapman’s new book #147things which was kindly sent to me by this amazing PR team. I’ve never written a book review on my blog before so for this to be sent to be was a lovely surprise and I couldn’t wait to start writing this post. #147things covers a vast range of topics, the book is claimed to cover everything from ‘black holes to belly buttons’, what more could you want from a book?     Throughout the book without giving too much away Jim talks about wide subjects such as the human brain, life and death, birth, childhood, adolescence, the human body, animals, fears, annoyances and grievances, myths, lies and legends and finally reasons to be cheerful. Personally I love the way the book is written, it is written with loads of asides (a term for when the author talks… View Post

London Fashion Week has been and gone and I am still obsessing over my favourite street style looks from the week. The array of colours shown throughout the week was incredible and I loved the diversity that every fashion week brings. Cords are in at the moment and I am totally loving this red and hot pink combination. High-waisted flared trousers are my go-to at the moment they can be styled up with boots/heels or dressed down with a pair of trainers of slip on pumps. Red has also been a very popular and on trend colour this season which I am loving but yet to venture into. I love the simplicity of the red polo neck knit top as it can be worn with some many other components.     The trench coat is a classic jacket which will never go out of fashion. It is so versatile and… View Post

About a month ago I started a new job working on both the N0.7 and the Clarins counter in my local Boots store. Working on these counters has meant that I have become increasingly aware of all of their products on the market so I thought I would share with you today my top 3 products for removing your make-up from the Beautiful Skin range by N0.7. All products by N0.7 are hypo-allergenic which means they are suitable for all skin types and no harsh chemical are used. Probably my favourite way to remove my make-up at the moment is by using the Melt Gel Cleanser by N0.7. This product is incredible and such a unique way of removing your make-up. The product consists of a gel like formula which when massaged into your face creates an oil like substance which instantly removes all of your make-up. To removed the… View Post
