Autumnal Style

Autumn is in full swing and I have picked up so many lovely pieces this year for my autumn/winter wardrobe. Mustard yellow has been a very popular and ‘on-trend’ colour this year and it hasn’t stopped moving through the seasons. I picked up this lattice back, chunky knit mustard yellow jumper from Newlook. This jumper comes in 5 different colours and I have to say I want it in every single one! The lattice back, ribbed knit jumper is only £19.99 which is a very reasonable price for a winter knit jumper. I love it!

Another item I picked up from Newlook this year is this tan suedette a-line skirt and it screams Autumn. This skirt is perfect for wearing with a chunky knit jumper or a top and jacket. It can be worn in so many way and is definitely a staple item for everyone’s autumnal wardrobe. What I love about this skirt is that it is very true to it’s size and fits me perfectly which never usually happens when it comes to skirts. This skirt is also £19.99 and comes in 4 different colours. I really want to pick this skirt up in the charcoal grey as it is also another stamen piece and colour.

I also picked up two bargain pieces for this post. Primark are currently selling these thin rib-knit sweaters which make perfect tops for in the winter, and guess what?? They are only £6 and come in around 10 different colour. These are the perfect top for autumn/winter and can be worn in so many different ways. I also managed to bag the bargain of a century by purchasing a pair of boots in the Newlook sale for £2.50. Yes, you did read that right, £2.50! These brown, suedette boots with a block heel were originally £39.99 so I got an amazing deal on these babies last week.

And last but not least, possibly my favourite item I have bought this year, this khaki suedette biker jacket from Missguided. This jacket is only £35 which is a bargain itself as it is fully lined however with student discount I managed to get it for only £24.50. This jacket is so versatile and is the perfect jacket for this type of year when it’s too cold to not wear a jacket but at the same time too warm to wear a coat. I love this khaki colour as well a I is different to many of the popular suedette jackets on the market which tend to be pink or tan.

As you can probably tell suedette is a very ‘on-trend’ material this season with it coming in so many different colours and is available in every high-street store I can think of.
