Pixi has been one of my favourite cosmetic and skincare companies this year and I was lucky enough to be gifted with lots of their products to try out. My latest package screamed rose walled gardens and fairytales. This beautiful box arrived in the post with a rose gold lock and key. It opened telling a fairytale story like in the books you read as a child and I was filled with so much excitement. Inside my box of goodies were two new skincare products for me to try, the Rose Caviar Essence and the Rose Flash Balm however it also included their new range of MatteLast Liquid Lipsticks in five different gorgeous shades.

The Rose Caviar Essence is suitable for all skin types and claims to hydrate, brighten, nourish and soften the skin. The product contains capsules which contain fresh rose and flower oils. They recommend you use this proxy after cleaning and toning. To press a coin size amount gently into the skin. The encapsulated moisture serum feels lovely on the skin and instantly hydrates creating a really nourishing feeling on the skin. Personally I would apply this product at night after your skincare routine so that your skin can really benefit from all the good that the product can do however you can apply this am or pm as it is a serum based product. I’m really getting more and more into my skincare at the moment and I am so excited to use this more often to see all of its benefits. This product retails at £26.

The Rose Flash Balm is a 3-in-1 formula made with rose water and olive leaf extracts which claim to moisturise, prime or use as a hydrating mask. To use this private simply apply a thin layer of the product onto the skin before applying your make-up to use as a primer or if your skin is feeling a little dry and needs some care and attention apply a thicker layer and leave to soak into the skin as a hydrating mask. I love this product. The 3-in-1 formula means it has so many uses. When you first apply the product is appears like a moisturiser in consistency but when soaked into the skin it creates a protective layer like a primer to stop your make-up from getting into the pores of your face. This product also retails at £26.

If using both products together I would cleanse and tone the skin before applying the serum. I would wait for that to soak in before applying the moisturising primer and wait again before applying any foundation or BB cream. Both products smells divine, they both smell floral but not overly rosey which I personally love. If I was to compare the smell it would be similar to the new fragrance by Gucci, Gucci Bloom.

The MatteLast Liquid Lipsticks are infused with rose hip seed oil meaning that they are beneficial for the lips. They claim to hydrate the lips, to be long-wearing and quick drying and I have to agree with them. When applying the lipstick the applicator makes it really simply. Each lipstick has a petal shaped applicator which makes it easy for the product to glide over the lips for full colour payoff in a single stroke creating a matte veil finish. In the box I receive five different shades of pink from natural tones to a deep rose pink. These included the shades; Au Naturelle, Matte Beige, Pastel Petal, Really Rose and Evening Rose. Each colour is vibrant and gorgeous. They a quick drying lipstick which is so important to reduce the risk of smudging however doesn’t dry out the lips a lot Luke many other liquid lipsticks on the market. Each lipstick retails at £16 are were the winners of the Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards UK 2017.

The past month has been manic. I’ve had mock exams, and the dreaded UCAS application to do as well as building portfolios for university interviews but I am now back as the Christmas holidays approach to focus on my blog for a little bit. Christmas is a lovely time of year but it can be expensive especially if you have a large family. No7 have got a huge range of offers on this Christmas to save you some money this season.

No7 are known for having 3 for 2 on all their skincare range which is on pretty much all year round. This is a great way to save money this Christmas as the serums and moisturizers can make a lovely gift for someone. Another 3 for 2 which is held every year is the Boots Christmas 3 for 2 Mix and Match which contains No7 gift sets including both skincare and make-up which you can pick and choose between. However you can also mix and match with the other brands which are on offer as well such as Champneys, Soap and Glory etc.. Any of the gift sets sold at Boots are an excellent gift for someone you love this season.

Currently the offer for make-up this month with No7 is you can receive a free gift worth £27 when you buy any two make-up products or brushes. The free gift contains the No7 Airbrush Away Primer 10ml, the Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced serum 5ml, the High shine Lip Gloss in the shade Roaring Red 8ml (full size) and the Lash Impact Mascara in Black 4.5ml. This free gift is amazing as a little stocking filler or extra gift this Christmas and it comes with a voucher for 300 advantage card points when you buy any anti-ageing serum as well. To receive my free gift, I purchased two of the No7 Gel Finish Nail Colours in the shades Pink Meringue and Golden Sands, two beautiful colours for the party season. These are both priced at £7.50 but would also make lovely gifts.

24 days of No7. This Christmas N0.7 are hosting a 24 days event where for the days leading up to Christmas one item will be on offer for the half it’s usual price, on Saturday I purchased the Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter for £5 instead of its original price of £10 and on Sunday I picked up the Beautiful Skin Overnight Revitalizing Eye Balm for half price as well making it only £6. The offers change every day and are available online and in store. Today’s offer is the Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser which is now only £5. The No7 Illuminating mirror in all colours (silver, rose gold and blush) are now reduced from £34.99 to £19.99, so get shopping.

About a month ago I started a new job working on both the N0.7 and the Clarins counter in my local Boots store. Working on these counters has meant that I have become increasingly aware of all of their products on the market so I thought I would share with you today my top 3 products for removing your make-up from the Beautiful Skin range by N0.7. All products by N0.7 are hypo-allergenic which means they are suitable for all skin types and no harsh chemical are used.

Probably my favourite way to remove my make-up at the moment is by using the Melt Gel Cleanser by N0.7. This product is incredible and such a unique way of removing your make-up. The product consists of a gel like formula which when massaged into your face creates an oil like substance which instantly removes all of your make-up. To removed the oil/gel simply either wipe off with a flannel or cotton pad, or wash your face with warm water. This process is so easy and one that I have been loving as it means you don’t have to use any other products after to make sure that your skin is all clean. The Melt Gel Cleanser is exclusively available at Boots along with the rest of the range and is only £9.50.

Micellar water has become an increasingly popular way of removing your make-up for a past year, in fact I think every skincare range has now launched their own version of the micellar water. After being incredibly impressed which the melt Gel Cleanser I thought I would give the N0.7 Micellar water a try, which is also from the Beautiful Skin range by N0.7. Personally after the whole Micellar water craze, I haven’t managed to find a micellar water which works any differently from another but saying that my two favourites are the Garnier Micellar water and the N0.7 Beautiful Skin Micellar water. Micellar water makes taking your make-up off really easy which is just something I love. If make-up wipes aren’t your thing then Micellar water is the next best thing for an easy way of removing your make-up. Simply put some of the water onto a cotton pad and remove all your make-up away. I tend to usually wash my face after but that’s only if I’m feeling super motivated. This is priced at £8.50.

And finally make-up wipes. These are probably the most expensive make-up wipes I’ve ever owned in my entire life. Usually I just buy the £1 ones and hope for the best but these Quick Thinking Make-up Wipes are £7 a pack. Yes you read that right, £7. Luckily throughout the year Boots give out N0.7 vouchers with your purchase which means that you can get £5 off any Skincare product and £3 off any make-up product, making the wipes a more reasonable £2. If you love these wipes as much as I do head over to your local boots store and stock up whilst you can! I have to say these wipes are really good at removing all of your make-up without the fuse of washing your face etc.. but at the same time I would never pay £7 for a pack of make-up wipes especially at the rate I get through them.

Due to the vouchers being out at the moment I managed to pick up the Melt Gel Cleanser for £4.50, the Micellar water for £3.50 and the wipes for £2. If you want to bag yourself some really good deals like this make sure you collect all your N0.7 vouchers up. Disclaimer: only one voucher can be used per transaction.

All N0.7 Skincare products are also on 3 for 2 currently at Boots.

Recently the lovely PR team at Malée Online sent me two of their products to try. I recieved their body oil and one of their soya candles. The package came with a gorgeous hand written note from the company and some super cute marble tissue paper. All of their packaging is made from recycled materials which I personally think is really important.

The Moisturising Oil just screams spa. I have been using it every night putting it on after a bath to help my skin feel all soft and smooth. The oils consistency is not greasy at all and it soaks into the skin really quickly which makes it a really wearable product all day round. I actually prefer this moisturising oil to a normal moisturising cream as it soaks into the skin so much quicker than any other product I’ve ever used. It also smells incredible, just like bringing the spa to your house. This oil is priced at £38 and is suitable for all skin types/ages.

The Limited Edition Polyanthes Soybean Candle has to be my favourite out of the two purely for its scent and burning quality. Don’t you just hate it when you buy a candle and it doesn’t burn evenly and you’ve wasted half the candle? Well with this candle it burns evenly so that you don’t waste a thing! This candle is priced at £55 but definitely worth every single penny.

I love these products and I bet you will too. Head over to their website by clicking the link here to view there whole range.

Whenever I go to Norfolk on holiday I end up purchasing so many goodies. Whilst I was at Norfolk Lavender I purchased three of their products. I bought their Lavender Bath Fizz, the Lavender Body Scrub and a miniature Lavender Soap. The packaging and how dainty all of the products are really drew me in. Also I just love Lavender!

The Lavender Bath Fizz was £3.99 which isn’t much different from your Lush bath bombs except this one was made from all natural ingredients and includes the oils from their home grown lavender. The bath fizz created the most relaxing bath ever as the steam filled the room with the most beautiful aroma. The same can be said for the body scrub which was originally £8.99 but is reduced to £2.99. The soap however is probably one of my favourites as it was £1.25 and the perfect size for my bathroom sink. All of the products create a beautiful lavender smell which is so relaxing.

All of the products can be bought on the website so you don’t have to make a trip up to Norfolk just to get some; although I would definitely recommend it. To read my post on my Top 10 Places to Visit in Norfolk click here now.

Here are some of my favourite products on the website besides the few I purchased..

Stress Gel – £3.50

Lavender Candle – £7.99

Lavender Reed Diffuser – £19.99
