It’s starting to feel more and more like Christmas as the days go on and I’m rather excited. Unfortunately my room isn’t finished yet but I am hoping that it will be by next weekend so I can do a post on it them. The walls have been painted, just waiting the arrival of my carpet.
Today I thought I would share with you my daily make-up routine. Recently I have been trying out different brands of make-up as I want to see if there is anything out there that I prefer to what I use at the moment. So I have been using a Maybelline Dream Nude Air Foam, in 040 Fawn. I am in love with this foundation as it creates a perfect finish and makes my skin look smoother. But before that, I use the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, now this works by appealing a gel like cover over any pores to make them seem invisible. I guess it sort of blurs them out a bit. It works really well and I would definitely recommend it.
I have then used a Collection Pressed Powder (but I didn’t feature it in the photo because I’ve used quite bit of it) and this is in the colour 18 Ivory. It was really cheap, around the £2 mark and works just as well as the more expensive ones.
I the used a Naked Eye Shadow Palette in Nudes. I love this eye shadow as it is perfect for these wintery months. I don’t actually know the price of this as I’ve been borrowing it off a friend. Firstly I apply a primer but you don’t have to use that if you don’t want to, then I apply the palest colour over the whole eyelid and on the tear duct, as this widens the eyes. Then I use the darkest colour in the crease of the eyelid. Next I use the nude colour to blend the two together. Sometimes I like to darken my eyebrows with the darker eye shadow to give them more definition. I then use a natural collection Liquid Eyeliner, this was £1.99 and it is super easy to use. For my lashes, I used a yet again Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara. This is around the £5.99 price range, but I personally think it is worth it. It makes my lashes look longer and it also widens my eyes and makes them look bigger.
For my lips I use a Clinique Lipstick in 12 Red-y To Wear. This is my all time favourite lipstick as the colour is bright and vibrate , but also suits my skin tone. It also doesn’t dry up my lips like some lipsticks. I haven’t a clue how much this cost as it was a birthday present from my Nan last year.
I thought I would also feature these brushes, my friend Niamh (who you’ve met in my other posts) gave me these a couple months back, she purchased these of Amazon and got a load of these cute brushes for £5.
Anyway until next time,
