Looking a lil moody

Hello m’lovelies,

My room is currently being re-decorated so all fashion posts will have to wait until then so I have somewhere pretty to take my photos, ((I will also do a post on my room)). This post is going to be all about the make-up that I’ve been using recently.

I never get all my make-up from the same brand, I tend to shop around and see which works best for me. Although my favourite brand at the moment is definitely the Boots Natural Collection, they do a great range of make-up and everything is under £2, so it makes it really affordable.

Recently, I’ve been using the Miss Sporty, So Matte Perfect Stay foundation, in 001 Ivory. When I purchased this foundation, I bought it in a too paler colour for my skin tone, however that wasn’t a problem. On top of my foundation I use the Boots Natural Collection pressed powder, in Neutral. This is perfect and helps control shiny zones. I also use the Boots Natural Collection, Sun Tint Bronzing power, in Golden Glow. This is far to dark for my skin tone, although I tend to only use a small amount. I work this into the contours of my face around where my cheek bones are. This gives then more definition.

Next I usually do my eyes, I have used a Primark eyeliner and before you say anything, yes Primark. I was surprised about this too when my friend told me about it. I purchased this eyeliner for £1.50 and I have to say it is my favourite. It is super easy to use as it comes in the form of a felt tip pen. I then used the Clinique Stay Matte eye shadow, which I got as a little freebie a while back. It came in Stone Violet, Night Plum and French Vanilla. This is probably my favourite ever eye shadow set because the colours suit my eyes the best and it tends to last throughout the day. For mascara, I use the Boots Natural Collection Lash Build mascara. It creates thicker more volumized lashes.

For my lips, I simply used a Boots Natural Collection lip liner and I know you are only supposed to outline your lips with it but I use it all over. This one is in Plum, but they come in loads of different colours.

Foundation: £3.49

Pressed Powder: £1.99

Bronzer: £1.99

Eyeliner: £1.50

Eye Shadow: N/A

Mascara: £1.99

Lip Liner: £1.99

To apply this make-up I used a range of brushes which my friend gave me. She purchased them off Amazon and got 30 brushes for £5 and they work amazingly.

I thought I might as well feature my chokers in this post too. So my Black Tattoo choker, I purchased from Newlook for £1.99, as the one I ordered of Amazon a month ago still hasn’t arrived in the post, and my Hamsa Hand choker, I purchased off the online store, Un Poco Jewellery. They are both super cute and comfortable to wear.

So that was my make-up for today and my new chokers.

Until next time,
