As many of you may know I am currently on holiday in Norfolk and for those of you who have been following my blog for a while it is a bit of a tradition in our family. When my mum was growing up she used to come to boarding school up in Norfolk so she spent most of her teenage life up here. It has also been a popular place for my Nan to visit throughout her life. Around 10 years ago we started coming up here every year in the Summer Holidays for a weeks trip in the country and coast.  We arrived in Norfolk on Saturday afternoon where we had a lovely lunch at our favourite gastro pub on the corner just before you enter the town of Holt. We woke up on Sunday morning a little optimistic of the weather as it has rained all night, typical… View Post

This Zara sale was a big hit this year and my bank account is still paying for it; although I am extremely happy with the bargains and purchases that I have made this year. I must of picked up around 5-6 pieces from the Zara sale and this is one of my favourites.  I never tend to wear the colour yellow but this babydoll style top covered in pinstripes and miniature sunflowers caught my eye and I fell in love. I loved this top because it had two of the hottest trends this summer on it for only £9.99. Yellow has been really on trend this year so far so I’m glad I’ve managed to get this piece into my wardrobe. This babydoll top was in the Zara sale for £9.99 reduced from £25.99 which I thought was an incredible bargain and I had to have it in my collection. … View Post

My favourites at Pixi Beauty have kindly sent me four of their summer essential products and I super excited to share them with you. Pixi is one of my favourite ever make-up/skincare brands as they are cruelty free and have an awesome PR team. Let’s get our #PixiGlow on! The lovelies at Pixi Beauty have sent me the ‘Quick Fix Powder’ which has no-colour and is completely translucid. This was a blessing to receive in the post the other day as I was desperate for a translucent setting powder for my holiday. This ‘Quick Fix Powder’ is definitely one of my summer essentials as setting your make-up is probably my most important step, especially in the summer. Even though I won’t be going anywhere hot for my holiday I will be still be needing a setting powder to stop my make-up from sliding in the wind. The ‘Quick Fix Powder’… View Post

The sales are probably one of the things that I get most excited about and I would even go as far as saying I’m the Queen of the Sales or the Bargain Queen as every year I manage to find some absolute bargains. I thought I would put together 10 of my favourites from a range of different stores, all of which I love and consider a good deal. The first few items I have listed on my top 10 picks from the sales are part of the current gingham trend. I love the gingham trend however I feel it will soon go out of fashion so I am not keen on spending a load of money on this trend so sale pieces are ideal.   Blue Gingham Tie Front Mini Skirt | Newlook | £17.99 NOW £10 Embroidered Gingham Trousers | Topshop | £42 NOW £25   The next item… View Post

The embroidery trend has been around for a while, although it is definitely one of my favourites. I must of purchased this shirt around 1-2 months ago and unfortunately it is no longer available on the Newlook website. When I purchased this shirt it was £17.99 however they had 20% student discount available at the time so I thought it was a bit of a bargain. I have paired this embroidered shirt with a pair of black ripped jeans and my new espadrilles.   I love the embroidery on this shirt as it is really simple and follows the floral trend that is very popular as well at the moment. I also love the shape of the shirt as I feel I haven’t seen many shirts this shape on the high-street as it has a very boxy style to it. Here are some links to some other embroidered shirts that I am loving… View Post
